There's a lot to like on this library's web site. The way that the site handles the list of databases is particularly good. Where it says "Articles" on the home page, there's a link labeled "Let us recommend the best databases for your topic »." Clicking it takes you to a page that asks to you select a broad discipline from a long list. Once one is selected, you get a nice set of recommendations for "Best Article Databases" and for "Encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks..." See for example the results for when you select "Geology" from the list of topics.

Another nice feature, one that is found on every page, is the option to "rate this page." Doing so takes you to this "comments" page.

The colors used throughout are bright, modern, and lively. Icons that mostly make intuitive sense keep the design from being too "texty." This site should be on the radar screen of any librarian involved with web design.
