The EBRPL website is making a transition from a traditional website to a Web2.0 website. An RSS feed is available for program news. In addition our Infoblog features online resources and search tips. A google map displaying all the branches has been imbedded into a web page. We are also working to improve our compliance with web standards and accessibility. Feedback regarding our website is welcome.

Italian blog whose aim is to involve in library related discussion non only professionals but also library users. The blog pays thus great interest in services to the public, relation among libraries and users, users rights. There is also interest for library technologies, web 2.0 and free software.

This blog was born in Liguria (NW Italy), thus it has a certain specific attention to that territory, but such attention is in no way exclusive and all library related themes can be discussed. Users from all over the world are welcome, and posts or comments in langueges other than Italian are allowed, though Italian is the main language of the blog.

Am I a sucker for a good looking online presence? You bet. And this is one of the best I've seen for a while.

Who'd they get to do this thing? In any case, the navigation is very clear and nothing seems jumbled or crammed in. In fact, the entire effect is one of restraint.

There's a good calendar function. Library blogs are extremely well integrated. You can sign up for the newsletter in a relatively painless way. Oddly enough, while the "News" is prominent enough, it links to announcements in PDFs!

On the minus side, the catalog could be better integrated and people who require a searchbox on the home page are going to be disappointed.

All in all though, an excellent site.
